How to set up SSL with Aland Cloud

How to get a security certificate for your WordPress website?

If your WordPress website is hosted by Aland Cloud, then you can get a free SSL certificate and easily set it up all by yourself.

Here is how to do it step by step.

  1. First, log in to your hosting account’s dashboard. Enter the email and password that you previously used to create your WordPress website with Aland Cloud.

  1. Click ‘Enable’ to verify your domain. It should ask for your website’s domain.

  1. As a next step, you should add the DNS record. To do so, log in to your hosting provider and copy the shown IP address as an “A” record in your DNS manager. Various hosting providers have different ways of adding DNS records.

  1. As the last step, enter your domain name in the field and click ‘Next’. Now, you’re done, you will be notified over email when your SSL certificate is installed. It usually happens instantly, but it sometimes takes some time for DNS records to be propagated.
